"WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?" is a reference to union worker song written by Florence Reece in 1931. The song has in recent years been adopted and reworded by activists to chant in protests, as a method of intimidating oppressors. The phrase refers to which side of history an individual is on based on their stance in situations of injustice. It is meant to provoke thought in viewers by forcing them to acknowledge the role they play politically. My goal for this ongoing project is to place this phrase in as many locations as possible in order to reach as many people as possible and have them ponder the question.
